My daily scenic bike ride

These are the scenes I see every single day coming to and from school on the 15 minute bike ride. For me, it's a big change from the traffic of Chicago.

I left out some pictures of things I pass on the way to school like small shrines and statues but maybe I'll take a few pictures of those later.

  2. oh by the way. I'm from Saint louis Missouri. i commented on one of your posts but dont remember which one. I wanted to tell you to get in touch with me you can e-mail me at bosnianmeli08@yahoo.com or by facebook. Search melisa catak. but ya im looking forward to hearing from you.
    ba-bye.

P.S. try not to be so shy. I read in one of your posts you come to school early and dont really talk to many people. I think you should talk to as many people as you can and if be yourself. There has to be at least one person that will like you if you try to make more friends.
sorry im writing a lot im just really interested in everything you are experiencing. Ohh again especially the boys. sneak a picture for me so i know my theory of Japanese boys always being cute is true.(:

    Hello!
Wow, I am sooo sorry I haven't checked blog comments in so long I didn't read yours until just now!
umm I'll just answer the questions you asked now... in case you're still interested..
Not really anyone in my school speaks english... The english learning here is pretty bad. There are, however, a few people who really want to learn so it was really easy to make friends with those people...Overall though, it was extremely hard to make friends and almost all of the exchange students in Japan I've talked to agree. It just seems that Japanese people are still pretty uncomfortable around foreigners..
Of course, I had tons of secret loves ;)
There was this one boy in the class next to mine who I had a total crush on the entire time but he's super awkward so we never got close like, at all...
Lastly Yeah, the classes in Japan aren't much h...arder than they are in the US but the thing is that everyone joins an after school club so its a lot more work. I can't talk for all schools though because my school is a vocational one, not an academic school so there wasn't too much regular work...

I hope you're still interested in visitng...you sound like you have a good interest so you'll probably do well :)
